1329 Magazine is an upscale, conceptual fashion and culture publication designed for the modern, culturally conscious woman. Intitially inspired by the elegance of the Nigerian gele, the magazine experienced an evolution through an iterative process of over 20 cover designs. The challenge was designing a comprehensive 20-page editorial layout in Adobe InDesign that balanced high-impact typography with sophisticated whitespace. The final publication speaks to both traditional print aesthetics and digital media, and features curated editorial spreads, and built-in digital animations to create an immersive online reading experience.
